Few schools and colleges provides internet with restrictions, thus you can't torrent with their wifi or internet. But why they are doing this ? Is torrenting is a crime? The answer is NO. Torrenting means just transferring content via bittorrent client but pirating content by torrenting is a serious crime and severe actions will be taken.

Here I am showing how to bypass the restrictions and torrent from any medium.

All you need is proper internet and Google Account.

STEP 1 :

    Open this python file in google colab.



STEP 2 :

    Install libtorrent by clicking the run button.

    Libtorrent is an open source torrent client.


STEP 3 :

Mount your google drive. Mounting means login with your google drive account.


STEP 4 :

    Choose the torrent file if you have or else go to step 5.





STEP 5 :

    Insert the Magnet Link.

You can add more than one magnet links simultaneously. After pasting magnet link type Exit.

 

STEP 6 :

Click Start.

Your Torrent download will start and when it reached 100% a folder named Torrent will be created in your google drive. Now download your content from google drive.

Enjoy your download.

What should be done in case of error?

Go to Runtime --> Restart runtime and Run All

Why did we used google drive ?

Because google drive can be accessible in most areas because it became like a basic need and college site can't check the google drive files.

Is it safe ?

It is a safe process until unless you are pirating, This process is just a torrenting process.

How much time it will take to complete ?

Depending upon your speed and it is somewhat slow

How big file can be downloaded ?

Depending google drive storage. At the ending of the process the files will be uploaded to your google drive directly . So check the available space before downloading.
